Altough the release dates for the iPhone 5 may be contradictory, as some suggesting it would appear in September, while other are taking a punt for it to appear in October. However, the majority now seems to settle for the month of October.
According to a news item appearing at BGR.com, the AT&T’s staff has been told to remain on high alert for the month of October. The website said, AT&T’s vice president has informed the staff that the Apple’s next phone will kick off sales in early October.
“Expect things to get really, really busy in the next 35-50 days, so prepare your teams accordingly,” said the exec to a group of AT&T managers.
Now that sounds like a genuine call, however some of the bigger news sites still seem reluctant to break this news.
Then there are other reports about AT&T scaling up the infrastructure for October, which again seems like a concrete proof this time.
According to Christian Zibreg over on 9to5Mac, AT&T has planned a data throttling and a new insurance policies for devices.
There are no official comments yet, but it does appear to be a legit call this time, only time will tell.
