The Apple iPhone 5 will hit production lines in the coming weeks according to a Foxconn source.
According to the employee scouted by 9to5mac, there are several samples knocking around, so it’s impossible to work out which is the final version of Apple’s latest smartphone.
The source went on to tell 9to5mac that the iPhone prototypes all have a screen larger that 4-inches and the design is completely different to the iPhone 4/4S.
At this stage, the source hasn’t given away a whole lot more information. nor when the iPhone 5 is expected to launch.
Earlier this week, rumors were circulating that the iPhone 5 will feature 5G Gigabit Wi-Fi, but little else has been revealed of the next Apple device.
However, judging by previous production cycles, we can expect a summer launch – traditionally it’s taken six months from start of production to the release of an iPhone.
